It all starts with a phone call

Seismic testing beginning soon in the city of La grange , Texas

Seitel has contracted Dawson Geophysical to perform a seis-mic test within the city of La Grange , Texas. This seismic test is safe and environmentally friendly.

Seitel has acquired the neces-sary permits with the city of La Grange to position / place their equipment, ( seismic sensors ), within the city owned r.o.w. and along their streets. This equip-ment consist of a small yellow recording device that is two (2) inches X fi ve (5) inches and it is attached to a group of small seis-mic sensors, ( geophones ), of which are attached to a small white box that is three (3) inch-es X (10) inches in size. This equipment will not harm your residence or anyone while it is being used to record the data that the three (3) small vibe trucks

will be producing. There is no risk to you, your family, pets or property during the time of this seismic testing.

This test will consist of three (3) small vibe trucks traversing along some city streets and low-ering a vibrating pad that sends a brief sound wave down into the ground. The signals that are produced by these sound waves are recorded by the seismic sen-sors that are placed / positioned along the city streets and city owned r.o.w. Once these seismic sensors record all the data that is produced by these three (3) vibe trucks, all the seismic equipment will be removed .
