DESCRIPTION

Capacity is not just about understanding available compute capabilities, CPU capacity or storage capacity. It is also not just about the physical space or environmental constraints within the data center. It is about all of this. That brings us to a definition of what we are seeing organizations begin to address, an area or discipline that to date has been fragmented, spread across tools and organizational silos and definitely has large room for improvement. An area we have coined “Converged Capacity Management.”
