Remote AlarmThe Remote Alarm duplicates the alarm
functions on the CAB unit to signal workersin a remote location that there is an alarm
condition with the system.
Connect the CAB unit to the Remote Alarmusing the provided cable.
Test by turning the air supply off (with COMonitor On and in Run position).
The low flow (LF) status will show on themonitor LCD and the visual and audible
alarms will activate.
Turning the air supply back on willdeactivate the alarm condition

CO Monitor Battery ReplacementIf the 9V battery is being used to powerthe monitor and the battery power gets
low the LCD will display LB indicating thebattery needs to be changed.
(1) Removethe CO monitor
cover
(2) Removethe 9V battery
(3) Install new9V battery

CO Monitor Sensor Replacement
(1) Removethe 4 screws
on the front of the CO monitor
(2) Gently pry
off the coverfrom thebottom of the
housing
(3) Gently pull
on the oldsensor
(4) Removethe shortingclip from the
new sensor
(5) Align pins andgently push the new
sensor into the sockets
(6) Replace the frontcover of the monitor
when sensorreplacement is
complete. Ensure LEDsare aligned with
housing before securingfront cover with screws.
(7) Allow instrument towarm up at least 30minutes. Zero andCalibrate before the
next use.

Filter Housings /Bowls
Periodically removethe auto drains andclean with a mild
soapy solution. Re-
install into the filterhousing.
Auto Drains
They are installedon the 1st and 2nd
stages only andautomatically
drain bulk liquid
contaminants afterthe level has reach
1/3 of the bowlcapacity. Cleanperiodically withmild soap and
water. Make surethe tubing issecurely placed inthe holes at the
bottom of the unit.
Filter ChangeIndicators
The change indicatorswill gradually changefrom green to orange
when filter life isspent. Air must beflowing through theCAB unit before the
indicators will

AA Battery Back Up
Optional DC PowerSupply
CAB units may beoperated using (8)
AA batteries toprovide power to the
external lights, COalarm and the CO
monitor.
The AA batterycompartment islocated on the
interior surface of the CAB Box.
When operating onDC power the
amber light on thetop of the CAB unitwill burn steadily.
If the battery
power for the CABunit falls below therequired voltagethen the amber
light will begin toflash and an
audible alert in theform of shortintermittent beepswill notify the user
it is time tochange thebatteries.
