CATB 0002 BKC1479 Citroen Berlingo / Peugeot Partner Van - 1996 to 2005 Auto-Adjust Clutch Cable 1. Starting with the auto adjust mechanism fitted in the spring retention clip (middle of chassis sub- frame) – route cable upwards, towards firewall - Slide the cable end fitting up through the Firewall towards the clutch pedal lever and push the Firewall Grommet “home”. 2. PLEASE NOTE Correct routing of the cable when routing to the Bulkhead from retention clip is in the middle of the PAS (Power Assisted Steering) Pipe – should not be on the bulkhead side of this pipe as this will result in incorrect routing of the cable and cause adjustment problems. 3. Route gear box cable end via two cable locating hooks as shown below 4. Fit the Grey plastic moulded “cup” into clutch actuation lever. 5. 6. From inside the vehicle slide the cable end fitting over the clutch pedal lever end taking care to note the position of the cable inner wire inside the cable end fitting

7. Check top make sure clutch pedal return spring hasn’t become dislodged and fallen out.

8. The Auto-adjust clutch mechanism can now be released by removing white retention cap – DO NOT REMOVE the white plastic retaining cap until you are sure the Auto-Adjust mechanism is in the correct position, the pedal and gearbox ends of the cable have been fitted correctly and that the cable routing is correct.
