t Cabot Church of Christ, we are a big, warmheartedfamily. We are all dierent – we are from dierentbackgrounds and dierent walks of life, but one
thing brings us all together to the table. We are allfollowers of Jesus Christ, devoted to serving Him and toserving one another in love. Located in Cabot, Arkansas,we are a small to mid-size congregation that is whollydedicated to sharing the abundant life we have in JesusChrist with others. We meet regularly for churchservice, fellowship, and ministry meetings and strive in
every way to be warm, welcoming, and loving to eachother and to members of the surrounding community.Our primary goal is to spread the love and good newsof Christ to others, and to nurture and support oneanother as we live together toward Heaven. We are afamily of hope, and there is always a place for you atthe table. We want you to get to know the heart of ourfamily, and we’d like to get to know you too. way we represent ourselves portrays a consistent imagethat clearly reects the character of our Cabot Churchof Christ family, as we strive to reect the heart of Jesusin everything we do. There are six basic componentsof our visual identity that we have set as guidelines forcreating and maintaining church-related materials:
Voice/Paper Identity – Actions speak louder than
words, but when words must speak, our tone can speakvolumes.
Logo – Graphics are the best way for us to convey aunied image.
Colors – Colors translate into feelings. Feelings helpus relate.
Typography – Consistency in typographic designhelps with clarity and organization.
Internal Communication/Collateral – Memos, let-terheads, envelopes…basic layouts to use as guidelines.

color paletteCOLOR PERSONALITY
The Cabot Church of Christ ocial colors convey afriendly, warm, and homey feeling. We want viewers tofeel comfortable, welcome, and optimistic when theysee our logo and designs. The warm sunshine yellow
conveys feelings of contentment, optimism, hospitality,and comfort, while also helping the visual aspects jumpo the page. The soft sky blue conveys a sense of safety,security, and stability. The bright fern green acts as acheerful accent and relates to images of growth, newlife, and a fresh start.
COLORS AND USEThe ocial Cabot Church of Christ colors are PMS 394(sunshine yellow) and PMS 3005 (soft sky blue). A thirdocial color, PMS 360 (bright fern green) may also beused for complimentary designs and accents as outlinedbelow. Headline text uses PMS 431, a dark stoney grey.Use only approved original Cabot Church of Christ digital

if a booklet is being made.•White paper is the only acceptable color.•8 1⁄2 x 11 will be used by default unless
special size is requested•Paper should not have any type of texture,pattern, or any other characteristic notaddressed in this guideline.
STYLEAll the elements must work together to
communicate the style and message of CabotChurch of Christ. Remember to direct thereaders’ attention to the most importantinformation, which must be structured sothat it ows. Always keep it simple.
HEADLINES• The font size should never be larger than
70pt., but not smaller than 40pt.• Knema or Opicio
• Never italicize the headline• Do not tilt, distort, or add special eects• Required to be at least 3 picas from body
copy• Headline is preferred to be black, but any
color from the color palette is acceptable
BODY COPY• The rst letter of the rst paragraph of
an article should always be a drop cap.• Drop cap=3, Drop cap font is Knema• Font should be Gentium Plus ; size 15•Body copy is not permitted to have any
other font.• Copy should be one color, preferably black.• Always left justied• No hyphens• If paper is ever in landscape position,
text is split into two columns
