You are excited about bringing their baby into the world, but now what. Through our exciting and interactive classes learn about the labour and birthing process. Our goal is for you to have the best birth you can, however you define it.

A typical series will cover topics such as:• The birth process• Building a pain-coping mindset• Medical interventions• Giving birth by Cesarean• Effective communication with your caregiver• Special instructions for birth partners• Feeding baby

Our classes are participation-oriented, which helps parents understand the knowledge in the context of their unique lives. As well, parents are taught to build a pain-coping mindset to integrate into daily life, rather than “dust-off” for labour. Most importantly, our classes are fun, engaging, and entertaining.

Dear Parishioners and Friends of Holy Rosary:

Many times we ask for blessings for ourselves, our homes, our religious articles. Did we ever think of ourselves as a blessing for others?

Another way to look at being a blessing is to see ourselves as stewards of God’s creation. From the book of Genesis 2:15 we read “The Lord God then took man and settled him in the garden to cultivate and care for it”. From John 13:13 -14 Jesus said to his disciples after washing their feet: “Do you understand what I have done for you…………

If I, Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you should wash each other’s feet. Foot washing is symbolic for service, ministry, stewardship.

As Christian stewards we serve the Lord by serving each other: We feed the poor, clothe the naked, welcome refu-gees, create economic policies that are inclusive, live as peacemakers, correct injustices. These actions of love are

stimulated by our prayer life, by being Christ centered. When Jesus was dying he prayed: “Father into your hands I commend my spirit.” We should make this our prayer every day: Commend our lives to the Lord so that we can

die to selfishness, racism and hatred and rise to charity, generosity, resurrection.

May God bless us all with the wisdom to be blessings stewards.
