Finishing our 5th year . . .
• 225 current students in the program• Increasing our offerings to 5 honors courses per
semester• 204 students havetransferred • Almost twice as many to UCB and UCLAas to UCSC
Honors Research Symposium
10 students submitted proposals
9 Presented at Stanford
Honors Graduates and Scholars
• 60 students transferring/graduating
• UCLA TAP certified Students – – 14 for Fall, 2013 – 85% admit rate– 10 for Fall, 2012 – 89% admit rate
• Honors Scholars – 29 this year! – Noting increase in number of honors units
students complete in the program
Current Application cycle:
• Fall, 2013 Admission – 100 applications – 20% increase over a year ago at this time– 69 new admits for Fall, 2013– Admitted 20 students for Spring, 2013 – current
Cabrillo students
• Diversity rate: – 40% Underr. Student applicants– 37% Underr. Student admits
Fall, 2014 Application Window
• Shorter application period next Spring
• Deadline – March 15th, 2014
• Processing and Counseling prior to Running Start registration – As of today – all incoming students have met with
a counselor to plan their Fall classes.
