The year of 2010 is behind us and we hope that it was a good one for you. Unfortunately we lost another one of our very active Classic Club members, Teressa Ten Berge, who recently passed away. Now let’s look into the future! What does 2011 have in store for you? Hopefully you will take advantage of your Classic Airstream Club membership and join us at the activities planned for 2011. We look forward to seeing you at the Florida State Rally, February 15-20 where we will have a CAC ice cream social, free for all CAC members. After the Florida State Rally we’ll have our own special rally at the Internationally famous Busch Gardens Theme Park in Tampa, Florida. However, it is not necessary to attend the Florida State Rally in order to come to the CAC rally. Just send in your rally
reservation and join us in Tampa on February 20, 2011. A Reservation coupon can be found as a part of this newsletter. On March 16 a caravan will rendezvous at Beaumont, Texas for an exciting ten day trip to experience real Cajun hospitality. During the Airstream International Rally at DuQuoin, Illinois in June we shall have our annual brunch/business meeting, an ice cream social and start another caravan beginning on July 5 to explore “Lincoln Land” throughout the state of Illinois. The caravan will depart from Du Quoin, after the International Rally, on July 5 and end in East St. Louis across the river from the Gateway to the West Arch on July 13 with five stops and a travel distance of approximately 500 miles.

Classic Airstream Club Summer Caravan
Du Quoin, IL to St Louis, MOJuly 5 - 13, 2011

Stops will be at Metropolis, Il to visit Ft. Massac established by the French in 1757, the Superman museum and the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY. Next will be travel to New Harmony, IN and to the historic New Harmony Utopia historic site. Back to Illinois with a stop at Vandalia, IL the site of the Illinois Capitol where Abraham Lincoln served as a state legislator. Next will be Springfield, IL to visit the Abraham Lincoln Museum and Library, the Lincoln’s home in Springfield, his law office with Herndon, the old Illinois Capitol building, and New Salem, IL where he was postmaster and store keeper. The final stop will be at the Casino Queen Good Sam Campground right across the Mississippi River from the St. Louis Arch. The light rail has a stop at the Casino providing easy access to several sites in St. Louis.
The kitty fee for one rig with two adults is estimated to be $575 and for one rig with one adult $425. Additional guests pay $150.00 each. The fee includes camping, admissions to group activities, three meals by the group, and four restaurant meals.

Dear Fellow Classic Airstreamers,
You are among the happy few who know and have taken advantage of the great activities
offered by our IntraClub. I want to remind you that our club is run by volunteers only. This
has allowed us to keep the cost of our membership dues at $10.00. Our dedicated members
and officers organize affordable caravans, rallies and gatherings. We notice each year at
International that the size of our family grows. The more the merrier! I hope that you have decided to join
this year one of our caravans or one of our club gatherings but why come alone, bring a friend. All WBCCI
members, silver, classic design, trailer or motorhome owners are welcome. If you are reading this newsletter
and are not a member yet, all you have to do is fill up this application and send it to our treasurer. Not sure
