Scanning / Document ImagingScanning is the process to read a printed form or a line at a time in order to convert images into bitmapped

representations or convert characteristics into text. It also involves capturing of images as a part of other

application where the acquisition of the image is a first step in a sequence of process that transforms the

original image.

   

 It is required to convert paper-based information to an electronic or digital pages format for instant access

of the data/information as the scanned documents/text that can be stored and indexed.

    

Before scanning any document, it is very important to understand the size of the original document/image,

lines per inch at which the image will be printed, resolution multiplier and the process of editing the scanned

images. One of the most important aspects of scanning is the resolution and it depends on how scanned

document is intended to be used.

In general, office documents are scanned at a resolution of 200 or 300 dpi (dots pre inch). In scanning

process, the quality of the image is also very important. If the quality is sub-standard, image pages dose

not look good and in turn consumes more memory.

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a process that translates images of typewritten text into machine-

editable text, or pictures of characters into a standard encoding scheme representing them in ASCII or

Unicode. An Optical Character Recognition (OCR) system enable us to feed a book or a magazine article

directly into an electronic computer file, and edit the file using a word processor.

The office of the Bhumi Sarankashan Adhikari (BSA) based in Jhansi-I is responsible for the

complete watershed and land based survey and development of the Entire Bundelkhand Region of

Uttar Pradesh. Our company won a project from the BSA for GIS survey and subsequent

Digitization of the Jhansi Division. The work known as DPR work was successfully completed by our

company before the deadline. The work was highly appreciated for the quality of the deliverables.

road is also maintained as per some address ranging. Checking them as per Ortho Image.

Maintaining connectivity with Main roads e.g. N.H... Each and every road must have complete

Bridges are also checked for the roads continuity. Final deliverables are in .shp format.

 

Cadastral Mapping Project Digitalization of different city maps from scanned maps provided by client. Different elements like

Parcels, Buildings, Roads, and Rivers etc. are checked individually for topological accuracy. Final

deliverables are in .dwg format

 Parcel Realignment Project

Parcel realignment of district maps of State with the provided Ortho Imagery. Buildings are also

taken care of so as not to overlap on roads. Topological check is done. Final deliverables are in a
