    anului 2013 i a fost dedica t crizelor de orice felAm schimbat tema, dei e vdit mai potrivit an ului 2014.

    S fie toate timpurile complicate i nvturile istorieiuitate imediat? Mcar nu demult

    iertam, dar nu uitam. Acum uitm pe ntrecute, cu ochii orbii de ecrane, vitrine i altegoluri, care atrag fatal.

    Din pcate, omenirea pare c se pregtete s repete grozviile din trecut. Pentru un

    medic, fiecare moarte e o tragedie, chiar dac pentru politicieni rmne o statistic.

    Ar trebui s ne ntrebm dac istoria s-a pierdut la c oal sau coala s-a pierdut n istorie,pentru totdeauna. Pe vremea mea istoria, nu coala, pregtea proti care s danseze cu

    tunurile.

    Mcar viaa s merg nainte cu ziua, nu c u veacul. i nu n ritm cazon, ci n coordonatele

    sale fireti. Avem nevoie de armonie, de emoie, de cutare continu a unui echilibruinterior, ivit din spirit, c redin i iubire.

    Un asemenea liman de linite l putem afla n sala de spectacole.(in)Teatrul Nottarane invit, din nou, s participm la Fest pe Bulevardalturi de o nou

    tem serioas, aleas de ctre organizatori: aceea a Electoralelor, a campaniei

    Teatrul nu e doar pentru elite!

    Orice festival trebuie s fie o srbtoare pentru cei care l frecventeaz. Noi ne-am propus

    s facem unfestinteatral pentru toi cei care ne preuiesc (ba chiar i pentru aceia care

    nc ezit s-o fac...).Pentru c nu ne temem de bulevard, v oferim comedii bulev ardiere!

    Pentru c nu ne temem de criz, v druim spectacole despre toate felurile de crize

    (social, conjugal, politic, sexual, de identitate...)!

    Pentru c nu facem altfel de politic dect cea a publicului, v invitm s rdei de...electorale, ntrebndu-v mucalit: Eu cu cine votez?

    Pentru c teatrul nu este apanajul elitelor, am adunat laolalt producii pentru toat

    lumea, ncercnd s nu facem concesii prostului-gust, vulgaritii, trivialitii.Aa cum st bine unuifestin teatral, avem reprezentaii spumoase, care strnesc hohote de

    rs, precum i producii crude, puternice, cu subnelesuri filosofice. Avem muzic, dans

    i... surpriz: vom iei n strad pentru a v ntmpina, pe toi, cu un pahar de vin!ntr-un cuvnt, vrem s v artm ntreaga noastr recunotin, poftindu-v la unadevrat FESTIN de teatru pe Bulevard!

    Ei bine, noi, cei care am pus la cale aceste ntlniri facem parte din gruparea op timist, fiindc la urma urmelor ar fipcat s nu profitm de cadrul att de generos oferit de festival ul organizat la TeatrulNottara,pentru a nu ne reuni n

    jurul unor idei care frmnt lumea teatral i p retind confruntare de opinii. Sun pretenios, tim, dar v asigurm

    The acid lampoon published by Camil Petrescu in the 9, 11, 12, 14, 17, 18issues of 1932 in Romnia literar (edited by Liviu Rebreanu), collected in

    1933 into a volume under the emblem of Literary Fortress Notebooks,represents the immediate reaction of the author. He was outraged by theportrait that Eugen Lovinescu had made him in the second volume of hisMemoir. Today, the reading of this text sheds light on an important chapter ofthe history of Romanian interwar literature and, at the same time, completesthe moral portraits of two huge characters with similar aesthetic positions,yet who showed a profound and lengthy antipathy for one another.Beyond the natural need of posterity to understand the hidden triggers of theliterary life of the past, with its sensibilities and moods, the republication ofthe pamphlet Eugen Lovinescu under the Sign of Untroubled Serenityalsorepresents a chance for showing the public the complex personality ofCamil Petrescu not just a playwright, theorist, poet, novelist, journalist,magazine creator and editor, but also a strong p olemic spirit of his time.The republication, scheduled 10 y ears after the first complete publication ofthe text (critical edition by Florica Ichim, a t the Gramar Publishing House, in2004), includes a long foreword where the theatre critic analyses in detail,especially based on Lovinescu's notebook, the complicated history of therelationships between the two writers.

Comandat cuocazia centenarului naterii lui Caragiale, piesa urma s apar, nanul 1952, n Viaa romneasc; n acest scop, redacia revisteiorganizeaz o interminabil discuie n jurul textului piesei, n

    sperana c pe baza ei se va putea ajunge la o redactare pe ca reea (revista) s i-o nsueasc, cci n definitiv acesta estedreptul unei reviste. [...] Interesul aparte al dactilogramei nust, ns, deloc n informaiile despre procesul decreare/desfigurare a piesei lui Camil Petrescu, ci, evident, nfaptul c ne conserv, n stare nemachiat, un model concret alaciunii totalitarismului ideologic (oricare i-ar fi culoarea!)asupra individului (n spe, aici, asupra creatorului). Numelede trist amintire ale tovarilor literai sunt Nicolae Moraru,Mihai Novicov, Ion Vitner, Silvian Iosifescu, Aurel Baranga,Traian elmaru, cu toii n floarea vrstei i... a ca rierei, ocupndfuncii importante n presa de partid, la Uniunea Scriitorilor saula Universitate. n faa lor se afl creatorul lucid, cu sl biciunilei iluziile sale (printre care cea mai evident aceea c un dialogefectiv este nc posibil), dar, mai ales, cu ironia sanendurtoare, ale crei accente subversive nu i vor scpacititorului avertizat asupra epocii i, n special, asupra biografieii operei camilpetresciene.

    Nici prima, nici cea din urm gazet nfiinat, condus i, adesea,scris aproape n ntregime de Camil Petrescu, Cetatea literar(anul I, nr. 1-12, 25 decembrie 1925-23 decembrie 1926) reprodusacum ntr-un format accesibil prezint o valoare excepional ipentru faptul c n cuprinsul ei (nr. 11-12) se regsete Falsul tratat

    pentru uzul autorilor dramatici. Document de istorie teatral i,totodat, exemplu de polemic inteligent i civilizat, Falsultratat... este rspunsul oferit de Camil Petrescu dup declanarea,

    n noiembrie 1926 (data premierei piesei sale Mioara,la TeatrulNaional din Bucureti), a celui mai puternic, conjugat i de lungdurat atac de pres din acei ani. Tot n Cetatea literarau fostpublicate poeziile ce vor fi incluse n volumul Transcendentalia, dari Scrisorile doamnei T (devenite ulterior capitol n Patul luiProcust), a cror lectur l determina pe Eugen Lovinescu s saluteapariia unei noi scriitoare (!). Revistai-a avut printre colaboratoripe Tudor Arghezi, Ion Barbu, Hortensia Papadat-Bengescu,Liviu Rebreanu .a.

    The archive texts on which the book The Trial of Comrade Cambasedare published long before other texts, similar in spirit aprocedure of the Communist period, which have only recently brecovered and capitalised up on. As Ion Vartic explains in the notthe edition, the text is about the transcript of the meeting oJune, 1952, in the editorial office of the Romanian Life ( Vromneasc) Magazine, a meeting dedicated to the so-ca'analysis' of the play Caragiale in his Time by Camil PetreOrdered on the occasion of Caragiale's birth centenary, the playgoing to be published in Romanian LifeMagazine in 1952; to this ethe editors of the magazine organised a never-ending discussiothe text of the play, 'hoping that based on it they could reachedited version that the magazine could aquire, because after allis a magazine's right.' [] The special interest for the writtranscript does not reside in the information regarding the proof creation/disfigurement of Camil Petrescu's play, but, obviousthe fact that it preserves for us, in an untainted state, a concmodel of the action of ideological totalitarianism (whichevecolour may be!) over the individual (particularly on the creatothis case). A sad memory are the names of literary comraNicolae Moraru, Mihai Novicov, Ion Vitner, Silvian Iosifescu, ABaranga, Traian elmaru, all of whom were in the prime of theirand... their career, occupying important positions in the Papress, at the Writers' Union or at the University. Before them sthe lucid creator, with his weaknesses and illusions (among whthe most obvious one that of the possibility of an effecdialogue), but above all with his merciless irony, whose subvertones will surely be noted by the reader who is somewknowledgeable about the Communist period and, in particuabout the biography and work of Camil Petrescu.

    Not the first or the last journal founded, edited and, often, wrialmost entirely by Camil Petrescu, Literary Fortress (year I, issu12, 25 December, 1925-23 December, 1926) republished now iaccessible format has an extraordinary value due to the fact issues 11-12 contain the False Treaty for the Use of Drama Authodocument of theatre history and, at the same time, an examplintelligent, civil debate, the False Treaty is Camil Petreanswer after the strongest, most concerted and lengthiest mattack of those years started, in November 19 26 (after the premof his play Mioara, at the Bucharest National Theatre). LiteFortress also published the poems that were later included involume Transcendentalia, as well as Scrisorile doamnei T (Letters of Mrs T), which later became a chapter in The BeProcrustes; after reading these, Eugen Lovinescu saluted emergence of a new female writer (!).Among those who wrote for the magazine we mention Tudor ArgIon Barbu, Hortensia Papadat-Bengescu, Liviu Rebreanu etc.
