5. SVEEP

The State Plan of Action for SVEEP

activities has been prepared by this

office and communicated to all

(ii) Preparation and dissemination of

SVEEP materials for election a. The cinema slides on the title

“Don’t be like” had been prepared and screened in 690

cinema theatres throughout Tamil Nadu.

b. “Bus Shelter Campaign” was launched on 10.02.2016 by the Commission in Chennai District along with the posters were displayed in 131 bus shelters near important places like college, offices and commercial areas.

c. The following short films which were already screened in all districts for the enhancement of voting percentage during General Elections to Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, 2016 are being used this year to create awareness on voting and emphasis on ethical voting. i. Your Vote Your Right

ii. Don’t sell your vote.

iii. Our democratic duty

iv. Are you 18?

v. Three short films on ethical

voting.

vi. Multi Star Icon videos of

Thiru Arjun, Thiru S.P.

Fixing rate for hire & detention charges of Govt vehicles has received from the Motor Vehicles Maintenance Department and for LMV/HMV vehicles report awaited from the Commissioner of Transport.

Orders issued for TA and DA for all election related officers vide G.O (1D) No.11, Public (Elections-VI) Department dated 4.3.2016.

registered for 348 cases, while the remaining

e. 64 ROs were trained by ECI at Hotel Ramada, Egmore, Chennai on 7.3.2016.

(iv) Appointment of Nodal Officers in

The Details of record Officers in respect of Army, Navy, Air Force, CISF, BSF and CRPF are called for this Dept. letter No. 1310/2016, dated 9.03.2016.
