Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful spring break. We are half-way done with the semester and the weather is beginning to heat up. In another two months, many of you will studying for the bar exam, beginning your summer in-ternships, or excelling as summer associates. But in the meantime, we have a lot of exciting events to fill up the open hours before final exams. Today, LCS is offering advising hours in Bannan Lounge from 12-1pm and 5-6pm. Make sure to drop in and ask these experts any questions you may have re-garding career decisions and academic concerns. Wednesday, the Legal Recruiting Fair will be held in the Bannan Hallway from 11am-2pm and there will be an e-Discovery discussion from 12-1pm in Bannan 139. In the afternoon, come by and visit in the Cowell Build-ing for a law school discus-sion from 5-6pm, or take the time to drop into an AA
meeting in Benson 209 at 5pm. Thursday, the DOJ will be on campus to discuss summer internship opportu-nities and career prospects with the United States De-partment of Justice from 12-1pm in Bannan 139. Finally, this week will end with the beginning of Bar Preparation workshops. On Friday, join in a general introduction to the Califor-nia Bar Exam from 12-4pm in Bannan 142 and on Sat-urday make sure to take the second course on a bar examination essay in torts from 12-4pm in Bannan 142. In conclusion, I urge you all to take a look at the qualified individuals running for SBA who have run ads on pages 3 & 4. They are working hard to earn your votes, and I hope you will take the time to read them. Have a great week and I hope to see you all soon! Very truly yours, Melissa L. Middleton SBA Print Editor

ART SRIPIPAT FOR
VICE PRESIDENT I want the SBA to be the organization that
works hard to bring students together outside the classroom. As SBA Vice President, I propose new activities that range from poker tournaments and
scavenger hunts to bigger joint bar reviews with other bay area law schools.
Vote for me, and I will work hard to make the 2008-2009 school year the
most fun yet.
Vote Smart, Vote Art.
