This familiar hymn reminds us of theunique and compelling role children havehad in leading the church in worshipthrough the centuries. Children bring adistinctive blend of spontaneity, enthusi-asm and joy to the worship of God. Withthat in mind, the children's music ministrystrives to inspire a joyful expression ofpraise as well as a commitment to devel-oping a deep love and understanding ofworshiping God through music.

What is "J" Crew?"J" Crew is a group designedfor 3rd-6th grade students.The mission of the "J" Crew isto provide an opportunity forolder children to experienceGod through music.
Is there arw cost?There is no participation fee.However, each child must pur-chase a T-shirt which will beworn durililg performances(approx. $10). Nominal feesfor costumes may be collectedon a need-by-need basis.
Who can join?Any child who meets the graderequirement may join. All chil-dren are welcome to be a partof the group regardless of theirchurch affiliation.

What do they do there?During rehearsals, the childrensing fun and exciting songsthat support specific religiousconcepts, act out Bible stories,learn the basic concepts ofmusic theory and performance,and learn to play handbellsand handchimes.
When do they perform?The children present musicalofferings during various 9:15and 11:00 worship servicesperiodically throughout theyear. They also take part in amusical/special program eachWinter and Spring.
