California State law requires all businesses that generate four or
more yards of waste per week, to recycle. All multi-family complexes with five or more units are required to recycle, regardless the amount of
waste generated.
How Can You Meet This Mandate?

2. Self-haul recyclables to a recycling center
3. Donate your recyclables

It’s easy to recycle at your business. Contact Waste Management to set up recycling services.
1. Once your recycling collection program is in place, use the list to the right to educate employees on what items are recyclable.
2. Keep recyclable items separate form your trash.
3. Place your recyclable items out for collection on your designated collection day.
You must subscribe to trash service in order to have comingled recyclable service. Below are current services available:
• 1 yd, 1.5 yd and 2 yd bin for trash• 2 yd comingled bins• 96 gallon carts for comingled
recyclables
