    California Wildfires Status at (07:00 AM PT) 19 November, 2018

     Seventy-seven fatalities associated with the Camp fire are reported.

     Over 1000 people reported missing as a result of the Camp fire.

     14,500 structures are threatened, 11,713 residential and 472 commercial structures have been destroyed.

     Three fatalities associated with the Woolsey fire have been reported.

     The Woolsey fire is 96,949 acres and is 94% contained. An estimated 1500 structures have been destroyed.

     The Hill Fire has burned 4531 acres and is 100% contained.

    Summary

    As of 07:00 PT (1500 UTC), ten fires are active across the state of California. The two fires of greatest concern continue to be the Camp and Woolsey fires. Camp Fire

    Seventy-seven fatalities associated with the Camp fire are reported. The fire has burned 151,000 acres and is 66% contained. Expected full containment is 30 November. Approximately 14,500 structures are threatened, 11,713 residential and 472 commercial structures have been destroyed. More than 5,332 fire personnel are working the fire. Evacuation orders are established for Paradise, Magalia, Concow, Butte Creek Canyon, and Butte Valley.

    Fire activity ranged from minimal to moderate overnight throughout various areas of the fire perimeter as firefighters continued to strengthen and improve control lines. Crews continue to implement containment lines, patrol for heat in the interior, and mitigate hazards in the fire area. Search & Rescue crews as well as the multiple California US&R resources will use their specialized human and canine skills to assist the Butte County Sheriff in the search for missing victims.

    Woolsey Fire

    Three fatalities associated with the Woolsey fire have been reported. The fire continues to burn in a densely populated area and currently threatens the communities of Thousand Oaks, Oak Park, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, West Hills, Simi Valley, Chatsworth, Bell Canyon, Hidden Hills, Malibu and Calabasas.

    The fire is 96,949 acres and is 94% contained. An estimated 1500 structures have been destroyed. Currently 1,086 personnel are fighting the fire.

    For today, north to northeast winds will gradually diminish through the day. Temperatures will be a little bit higher today than Sunday. Relative humidity will drop to around 20 percent. Firefighting resources will continue to mop up and patrol. Crews remain diligent in providing public service to residents as they return to their homes. Structures destroyed and damaged have been validated by damage assessment teams. Currently 95% of the burn assessment is complete.

    Hill Fire

    The Hill fire is 4,531 acres and 100% contained. Four structures are reported destroyed. No fatalities are reported. Fire crews continue to mop up and patrol the fire perimeter. Fire suppression repair teams are actively engaged working around the fire perimeter and affected areas.
