The San Juan Capestrano Hospital, leaders in mental health, opened its doors 30 years ago and has continued to grow and expand its services to best serve the needs of Puerto Rico. We are a private 172-bed mental health facility with 10 outpatient clinics throughout Puerto Rico. HOSPITAL FOR ADULTS AND ADOLESCENTSA multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, working under the guidance of a psychiatrist, develops an individualized treatment plan to meet the needs and address the specifi c symptoms of each patient. Our treatment options include group therapy, symptom monitoring, individual therapy, and family therapy, among others.

REHABILITATION FOR DRUG ABUSE AND ALCOHOLISMSpecialized treatments to manage the symptoms associated with detox from alcohol and drugs. It includes drugs such as synthetic marihuana, hallucinogens, cocaine, crack, inhalants, prescription drugs, heroin, barbiturates and designer drugs, among others.

PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (PHP)ADULTSThe PHP is a comprehensive outpatient program offered throughout Puerto Rico. The service is designed for individuals with emotional issues that interfere with their social, professional or educational performance, but do not require a full hospitalization. The patient returns home after receiving services.

PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (PHP)ADOLESCENTSDaily therapeutic program geared towards the unique needs of adolescents ages 13 to 17. Comprehensive evaluation and treatment by adolescent psychiatry specialist. Ideal option for young people with mood swings, drug use, behavioral issues or maladaptive behavior.
