PARTIES INCLUDE: One of the biggest perks to having your birthday
party at the Virginia Zoo is the all-day access to the animals! All parties
are hosted by an experienced Virginia Zoo Educator and include a visit
from an animal ambassador. Specific animal ambassadors cannot be
guaranteed but could include a small mammal, invertebrate, reptile,
amphibian or bird.* Activities are geared toward the age of the birthday
child. Look below to see what else is included in your party package.

$325* Expedition Parties may upgrade 1 animal to a premium animal for $150 extra. Premium animals include: screech owl, common boa, large exotic
bird, armadillo, prehensile-tailed porcupine. Specific requests will be taken into consideration but we cannot guarantee any specific animal.**Virginia Zoo Member Benefits: Adventure receives 1 present for birthday child. Expedition receives 2 animal paintings to take home.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT THE VIRGINIA ZOO
AVAILABILITY
Parties are held year round on Saturdays and Sundays and are offered
at four times throughout the day in both the Admin Classroom
(located at the entrance of the Zoo) and the Africa Classroom
(located at then entrance of the Africa – Okavango Delta exhibit).
Adventure Parties in the Admin Classroom Times: 10 to 11:30 am and 1:30 to 3 pm
Adventure Parties in the Africa Classroom Times: 10:30 to Noon and 2 to 3:30 pm
Expedition Parties in the Admin Classroom Times: 10 am to Noon and 1:30 to 3:30 pm

Refunds & Cancellations Party cancellations must be received at least
three weeks before the party to receive a partial refund of 80 percent.
No refunds will be given for parties canceled less than three weeks
before the date. Any changes or additions must be made a least seven
days prior to event.

touch a giant tortoise! Each tour offers the birthday child and
their friends the unforgettable experience of seeing wildlife
