at 4 PM, when the combined choirs of Calvary Church and Westminster Presbyterian

Church will provide music. A prelude by Flint Dollar will precede at 3:35 pm.

Calvary welcomes Deacon Steve Lane!

Deacon Lane will assist at the 11:00 am Sunday services over the summer, and, depending on his schedule (he

assists at the Cathedral), may join us for other services and events as well. Some of you may know him as the

officially at the June 7th

coffee hour.

Wardens Update

The parish survey has yielded over 140 responses. The survey group (Mother Bonnie, Geri Mycio, Alex

Benestelli) will review the many thoughtful comments and survey results with the wardens after they have a

chance to meet once more. This is the beginning of discussion of how we might integrate the results into

Calvary’s future; as such, there is no timeline.

Tower repairs begin in early June, the final phase of work to be done to restore the bell tower. Repairs are

anticipated to take two to three weeks, and will be complete well in advance of the Summer Carillon series.

KEEP WATCH…COMING SOON

Family Justice Center Fundraiser

The Family Justice Center will be holding its annual Voices Ending Violence Fundraising Breakfast on Friday,

June 12, 2015. As you know, the FJC provides free services for domestic violence victims and their children

through an extensive collaboration with 13 partner agencies, all located at one secured, comfortable location,

where victims can get all the services they need to safely escape abuse. Calvary has been intricately involved in

the establishment of a satellite site of the FJC in the Northtowns and continues to support its ongoing

operation. Please consider attending this fundraiser on Friday, June 12 at the Convention Center.

Registration is from 7:30 - 8:00 and the breakfast and presentation will promptly end at 9:00. If interested in

attending please contact Betsy Greno at [email protected] or 864-4817.

The Family Justice Center Northtowns Satellite is hosting an Open House on June 8th

from 6:00-8:00pm.

This will be a great opportunity for the community to tour the beautiful facility. And the great news is that

Amy’s Food Truck will be onsite to offer their delicious menu items! Please come by and invite your friends
