DEPLOSUN GLASS TOP IN COLD FRUIT STORESOF ALICANTE (REFRITRANS ZONE)

Ignacio Prieto’s company located in Aspe (Alicante) wanted to enlarge their building with some cold stores for fruit and vegetables conservation.

They contacted our distributor in that area REFRITRANS, in order to study the use of DEPLOSUN GLASS TOP solar pipes in those cold stores.

In order to provide those cold stores of the required light level for the correct manipulation of the fruit boxes, 4 units of DEPLOSUN GLASS TOP 550 were installed.

In this case, because they are cold stores, thermal conditions are very important. Thanks to the double glazing with air chamber (“climalit”) values of U=2,1 to U=1,2 are obtained and the calorific contribution is very low.

The energetic savings obtained by the use of natural light instead of artificial light along many hours per day, has been the determining factor to make this installation.
