GY-HM650E Live Streaming Setup Guide

VLC Media Player

1. Presetting - Installing VLC Player - Download from - http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

2. IP Address - Finding the IP address on your PC - Start > Program > Accessory > Command Prompt -TypeinipconfigtofindyourIPaddress

3. On the camera menu select [Main Menu] > [System..]

4. Change [Network] to On(SDI Off). Then Select [Settings...]

5. Select [Live Streaming Set...]

6. Set [Resolution] and [Frame & Bit Rate]

6.1 Settable Resolution during Streaming to No. of Frames

7. Set [Type] to MPEG2-TS/UDP

8. Select [Destination Address] and type in the address of your PC

9. Set [Destination Port] and set to 6504 as standard setting

10. Execute VLC media player on your PC - Open [Media] and select [Open Network System...]

11. Enter a network URL as: udp://@:xxxx - xxxx = Enter port number - Click Play - Note: Make sure you type the colon :

12. Turn [Live Straming] to ON

13. The Picture and Audio may be distorted due to network conditions - If so, lower the resolution and/or frame and bit rate

Teradek Decoder

There are four different model, as follows:

The GY-HM650E demo with Teradek Cube 305 decoder.Three possible configurations:

1. Instal TeraCentral to your PC for setup. - Download from: http://www.teradek.com/pages/downloads

2. Connect your PC and Teradek decor with network (wired/wireless). You can download Cube Reference Guide at:

3. Turn the power of the Teradek decoder ON4. Open Browser on your PC - Note: Internet Explorer requires IE9 or higher

Pre-setting

Set-up Decoder by Tera-Central1. Open TeraCentral2. Click Configure Settings3. Login using admin as the password -Note:adminshouldbeinlowercaps

4. Click Video Setup > Decoder Settings. Set Parameters as follows: - Decoder Setting: MPEG Transport Stream - MPEG Transport Stream Settings: - Protocol: TCP or UDP - Port: 6504 - Audio Codec: AAC - Others settings should be kept as default -ClickApplywhenfinished

Note: The streaming may delay more when the Jitter Buffering is enabled. However some picture quality maybelosedifsettoDisable.Thisdependsonbandwidth.s

4. Click Network > ConfigurationWired Connection -ClickWirelessandensureWirelessModeisdisabled -IfnotclickDisableandApply -ClickWired - Setup Parameters according:

-DestinationAddress=IPaddresssetupearlier

Note: When the above settings are completed the decoder settings will become invisible from the PC. If you need to access them, do the following:

- Close the browser and TeraCentral - Change IP address setting on your PC - Open TeraCentral -ClickConfigureSettingwhendecoderisfound - When browser is opened automatically enter Username and Password to Login

Wireless Connection -ClickWirelesstab - Set mode to Infrastructure (Slave) and click Apply -Whenbelowscreenappears,clickScanForWirelessNetworksandselectyournetwork -SelectSecurityModeandenterpassword -ClickApply
