Three high-density wood stringers Lightweight wood with high strength to weight ratios
Foam injected core – lightweight and durable
1.7 Edge - light, strong, heat treated for durability
2.5 Edge - oversized and specially heat-treated, built to resist impact damage
Comp Base - Armadaʼs fastest base
S7 Base - durable and low maintenance, with a speed additive for quickness
Titanal - two layers of metal provides stability at the highest of speeds
Laminate Matrix - directional layering of fiberglass dictates flex pattern and torsional rigidity
Carbon Kevlar - Carbon and Kevlar stringers used in the tail to add pop and extend life
Step Drill Bit System - The custom drill bit increases screw retention in Armada’s skis

CAMBER PROFILES
Rockered tips and tails combined with positive camber underfoot to promote flotation in soft snow and provide remarkable edge control in the harder stuff.
Entry rocker with positive camber under foot and no tail rocker. Promotes flotation in the soft snow while giving the ski great drive and edge hold on the hard pack.
The next level. Subtle rocker in the tips and tails with positive camber underfoot. This enhances carving while also disengaging the tip and tail to create a catch-free feel that’s ideal for buttering and nose and tail presses.
Traditional camber engages the tip and tail of the ski, enhancing ease of entry and exit into and out of a turn, while maintaining solid edge hold.
Our most powder-specific profile. Fully rockered at the tip and tail, with minimal camber underfoot, it maximizes float in soft conditions for unprecedented control, while the small amount of positive camber engages the two widest points of the ski just enough to allow maneuverability on the hardpack.

CAMBER PROFILE, WAIST SIZE, SIDEWALL TYPE... THERE ARE NUMEROUS WAYS TO COMPARE SKIS. AS OUR TOYS HAVE GOTTEN MORE SPECIALIZED THROUGHOUT THE YEARS, THESE METHODS ARE NOT ENOUGH.
THIS NEVER-ENDING DESIRE TO IMPROVE THE SKI BUYING EXPERIENCE IS WHAT LED OUR ENGINEERS TO DEVELOP THE FIRST SYSTEM TO QUANTIFIABLY MEASURE SKI FLOATATION.
