Each student had a 10 – 15 minute conversation in French or Spanish with a judge. Cambridge students did a fantastic job using their spoken language skills! Seniors are to arrive at either school at 1:15 pm for the walk at 1:30 pm. They should dress appropriately and wear their caps and gowns! Attention Seniors - Graduation Check Out Requirements Fulton County requires all graduating seniors to submit their post-graduation plans electronically through the Senior Check Out Form by May 4th. The link may be found on the homepage of the Counseling website under Announcements at www.cambridgehscounseling.org or by visiting https://tinyurl.com/BearCheckOut. If the student is not planning on attending a college next year, he/she should write one of the following on the form: work, gap year, military or any other specific plan. Additional instructions are provided on the Senior Check Out Form. An official FINAL transcript is required by the college a student plans to attend to verify graduation from high school. Final transcripts will be processed after the final grades are posted (tentative release date June 1st.) The transcript needs to be requested through Parchment.com or the same online program that was used to send the initial transcript to the college for admissions (for example, Common Application, SEND Edu, or Parchment). If the final transcript is being sent to AN ORGANIZATION (Sorority, Fraternity, Scholarship, etc.) OR A PERSON, Parchment.com must be used. As part of senior check out, Fulton County also requires students to report their total scholarship amount awarded for their duration at college, including the HOPE and Zell Miller scholarships, at https://tinyurl.com/ BearScholarship. The collective total of the senior class will be shared at our graduation ceremony. Scholarship information must be submitted by Friday, May 4th. Bridging To Our Future Seniors! What is the next chapter in your life? Whether you plan to attend college or have a unique path planned, stop by the Counseling Office and submit your name and your plans for the next chapter of your life and share it on the “Class of 2018 Bridging to Our Future Board.” Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, May 9, 2018. May 16th we will sell any remaining books for $100 cash only beginning at 7:30 am at the aux gym concession stand. We will sell until we run out, which we did last year! We've been looking over the lists, and there are quite a few who purchased an ad, but still haven't bought the book. Books can still be bought online until April 15th. This allows you to access them from any device and protects against loss in case of device failure. This summer Fulton County Schools will again perform a summer clean on all devices which means any files saved on your Microsoft Surface hard drive will be deleted. Everyone should check their Surface to ensure there are no important files that will be lost. Any important files stored in Documents, Downloads, Pictures, or Video Folders or are saved on your Desktop should be moved to OneDrive - Fulton County Schools. If you do not see an option for OneDrive – Fulton County Schools in your File Explorer, click on OneDrive and follow the steps to link to your school account using the email, [email protected].
