Extra sessions that we are running for our students:
1. Revision after school on a Thursday 3.30-4.15pm (Higher – M2 – Mr Godwin and Foundation – D6 –Mrs Murphy)
2. Maths lunchtime clubs (Tuesday – D4 – Mr Crawford and Thursday – D6 – Mrs Murphy)
3. Easter revision sessions – date to be confirmed4. 7.30-8.30am revision sessions on the morning of the
exams.
What students can do:
1. Arrive to lessons fully equipped and ready to learn. This includes having a geometry set and scientific calculator.
2. Attend all the extra sessions available to them.3. Complete past papers regularly at home - these are
given out in lessons and at revision sessions, or they can be printed from ItsLearning.
4. Put revision posters around your bedroom/house to help you remember some key formulae/methods, especially for Shape.
5. Ask lots of questions.
What parents/carers can do to support their child:
1. Encourage them to attend the extra Maths sessions.2. Ensure they are revising at home and ask for
evidence of this.3. Work through the learners guide with your child.4. Learn together.
