August 2016 – CurrentCommunications and training Coordinator, Estee Lauder Companies, Fareham. (Temp Position)My role coordinates and tests the online booking process for Estee Lauder services on their branded counters, both in the back end, acting as a builder for the system, as well as the front end booking across the brands websites. Alongside this, I act as a helpdesk for the stores to resolve any issues. Whilst working in the position, I designed and wrote the various training tools to be distributed to staff on the counters, as well as helped organize the delivery of face-to-face training.

February 2016 – August 2016I have been working in a variety of very short term temporary contracts with companies such as B&Q, Sauflon, BAT and Estee Lauder in various positions. My last role was at Carnival as a Marketing Print buyer and copywriter.

January 2016 – February 2016Corporate Shipbuilding Assistant, Carnival UK, Southampton. (Temp Position)In a temporary holiday cover, I assisted with the proof reading, editing and creation of communication as well as sending between the head office and the shipyard in Italy. This was split between internal communication in order to sign off letters, as well as forwarding these letters to the correct department within the Italy shipyard.

In this role, I assist with the creation and conversion of purchase orders, as well as receipting the goods on arrival at the warehouse, using a programme called Baan. Further to this I was responsible for looking for cost savings across our processes, and creating copy for the intranet page.

May 2015 – July 2015IT Security and User Requests, Estee Lauder Companies, Fareham. (Temp Position)In this role, I was responsible for sourcing IT equipment such as Ipads and Laptops from an approved list of suppliers for staff within Estee Lauder, creating purchase orders for the items through SRM and managing the stock levels and confirmations through SAP. Once the products were delivered, managed the stock within the warehouse and organised postage to the client. I also monitored the user request inbox for any IT related issues and queries.

January 2015 – May 2015Consultant Media and Design Associate, Care after Combat Charity, FarehamI was responsible for looking after all of the artwork for the charity using Adobe, as well as coding and updating the website using Wordpress, managing the ecommerce shop as well as running the online content, copy and social media pages. On top of this, I used InDesign to create their physical material, such as brochures, posters and products. I am also assisted with running the fundraising and marketing events, as well as organizing and creating their online video blogs.

(Temp Position)I was responsible for working with visual merchandisers and buyers to design and print in-store marketing and signage for the various bays and ranges within B&Q stores. Whilst in the role, I was in control of Power tools and drills, and working with the various teams, refreshing the visuals and messages of all signage.

I also ensured all purchase orders are successfully emailed to suppliers, and provided support to London Procurement when required. I ran daily and weekly reports to provide detail to the user

March 2014 - April 2014Marketing and Online Content Manager, Event Insurance Services Ltd, Ringwood. (Temp Position)In a consultant role, I set up Event Insurance Services online presence across the social media portals. Using TweetDeck, trained the staff how to schedule tweets at key times and how to perform key word searches. I also refreshed their online copy and content on their website, and suggested an overhaul of their approach towards customers to a more personal one. Whilst in this role, I also updated their artwork within their online profiles to the correct format, and made sure that the content continuity was consistent across all platforms.

May 2012 - February 2014Membership and Sales Advisor, David Lloyd Leisure, SouthamptonI was responsible for the creation of leads, making outgoing sales calls, taking incoming enquiries, as well as maintaining the database of potential prospects. At other times, I toured the club with visitors and sold different membership options, classes and lessons to club customers. Running parallel to this, I dealt with current member relations, dealing with cancellations, complaints and member finances. I also frequently used Microsoft Office and a program called “Club Centric” in order to manage the database and to generate letters.

September 2010 – October 2011Production Associate. Chalk Stream Entertainment, Romsey.I oversaw the design, production and marketing of material that was produced by Chalk Stream Entertainment, using Adobe design products, as well as managing and maintaining online marketing tools such as Twitter, Facebook, and Blogs. I was copywriter for the website, and replied to fan emails.This was an umbrella position that also ran in parallel with the following responsibilities: Tour Manager, Chalk Stream EntertainmentI was in charge of project managing the front of house staff at all the venues and liaising with the technical team at each theatre. I was in control of all the sound and lighting cues, as well as managing the onstage sound and microphones. I also managed the merchandise sellers.

February 2006 – August 2006Sales Negotiator, Townends Estate Agents, Englefield Green. My duties included matching vendors with applicants, administrative tasks, marketing for individual properties as well as designing sales posters. I held appointments myself with potential clients, as well as performed the conveyance chasing. This was a targeted position, which was highly competitive, requiring a multi-faceted approach in order to be successful in a busy sales office based environment. In the office, I also managed the database of vendors and applicants, as well as acting as copywriter for local markets and the media. Further to this, I wrote the point of sale marketing for the branch window.

Music Management and online content based experience (unpaid)

I have managed and toured with a London based band, liaising with venue managers, supporting band members and PR managers, music promoters and record company executives. This also included writing and designing their online marketing and blogs, artwork, social media interaction and management as well as video creation and project management. We also used a database system in order to analyze demographics to target, and used Google Ad words and HTML emails to contact them. I am also very experienced in recording and music production, having overseen recordings in Sony Music Studios, Whitfield Street and Pinkhurst Farm studios.
