Camfil awarded international Trophy forequality and diversity

New York, United Nations HQ, September 16th: Camfil has been awarded thefirst GEEIS-SDG Trophy which positions equality as the driving force foraccomplishment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).The jury consisted of representatives from Arborus, UN Global Compact, UNWoman, UNESCO and UNDP.

GEEIS is an internationally recognised label for companies with an effectivecommitment to equal opportunities, diversity and inclusiveness in theworkplace. Camfil, represented by Eva Bergenheim Holmberg EVP HR, Agnès

Genevois VP HR Continental Europe & British Isles and Nyanyui Siliadin,GEEIS-D & Compliance leader Camfil France , received the award onSeptember 16th at the United Nations in New York from the hand of SergeCristinane, Minister of the EU delegation in UN.

The main Camfil initiatives being awarded the GEEIS-SDG Trophy were the“Camfilles Project” which promotes equal opportunity for school children inFrance by providing internships at the company. The projects has also beenextended to support education at the Diebougou orphanage in Burkina Faso.

“Equal opportunity and diversity are crucial for empowerment of our peopleand success of our business. With the GEEIS-SDG Trophy, we can promoteCamfil as a sustainable and attractive workplace and support our businessmission to make clean air a human right” said the Camil team in their speechhaving received the award.

Mark Simmons, CEO and President of the Camfil Group stated in a videoshowed during the ceremony that - “ embracing change, equal opportunities,GEEIS and sustainability provide a better world for generations to come."
