Year 6 Camp 2010
1. This Camp will be a new experience for many of you. It is not a holiday camp, so the main rule that we have at School applies at Camp too. That is, behave sensibly and show consideration for others.
2. Think safety at all times. Accidents usually happen when people are careless.
3. Never go off anywhere by yourself. Check in with your leader for all activities, meal times, and duties. Remember which areas are out of bounds.
4. Remember the outdoor code. No live trees must be cut or damaged and avoid disturbing any animal life. Do not collect unnecessarily. Treat the camp as you would your home. Remember we have to pay for any damage. Wear soft shoes inside buildings.
Year 6 Camp 2010
5 Be willing to join in and try new experiences and use your five senses. The more you try the more you will learn. Set yourself a new challenge every day.
6. Consideration for others :
- in your cabin.- at meal times- at quiet times- in group activities- in games- in personal cleanliness.
Year 6 Camp 2010
7. Look after your health. You will be very busy during the day so make sure that you get enough food and rest. Make sure you put sunscreen on every day and reapply throughout the day.
8. Come and see your group leader, Mrs Pearl or Mrs Brieseman if you have a problem that is bothering you.
9. Bush - no live trees are to be damaged.
10. All buildings, including toilets, must be left clean and tidy.
Year 6 Camp 2010
1. You may explore the ship but you must
always be in your group.
2. You must report to the group assembly point as
directed by the adult in charge of your group
3. You must behave in a sensible manner at all times
and have consideration for other passengers
4. You must not play running games
5. Stay away from the games rooms/slot machines
6. You must complete the Boat Activity sheet before
the ferry berths at Picton
