Why Camp?Tere is so much competition or our childrens time in the summer sports
practices, summer school, well-deserved vacations. But camp is a gi. I ever oursociety needed a generation o uture leaders who understood the intricacies oliving in a community, having tolerance, and being open in nature that time isnow.
Why a Camp Fire Camp?Camp Fire has always recognized curious youth exploring their world need a secure
place to grow up. And since 1910 weve provided that place, through in-and-out oschool programs and camps. Camp Fire believes when youth get the chance to beoutdoors, to work with others in community, and learn to respect nature they betterrespect themselves. Were proud o the role we have playedand continue to playin guiding young lives to an appreciation o their own lives and the world we all livein.
