As a good friend once put it “camp is the jewel of summer” and we at Easterseals truly believe that. We want to offer camp programs that give our campers and their families’ precious moments of independence, exploration, respite and fun.

Exciting and carefully planned activities present campers with opportunities to try new activities, to build on skills they have already developed and to foster new friendships in a supportive and cooperative setting. Our camp staff have been carefully selected and trained to provide the best quality of care for your camper. Camp is a place where you can step outside your everyday lives and discover who you can be. In addition to all the benefits for our campers, camp is a wonderful opportunity for respite for all of the parents/caregivers.

Fees for each program must be paid upon the start unless prior arrangements have been made with Easterseals. We understand that if another agency is paying for camp, they might not remit payment until after the camp is complete. If this is the case we ask that you verify with a case manager or the payer source that the funds are available. If you attend camp and you do not have sufficient funds you will be personally responsible for the camp fees. Please see our Camp Policies for our complete payment policy.

Camp Victory is a fully accessible camp that offers us the opportunity to enjoy nature and exciting programming that can accommodate everyone.

Club Lily is an awesome camp experience for adults 18 and up with any disability. Our goal during camp is to offer our campers a variety of experiences that will foster independence, allow adventure and enhance socialization all while having fun! Our creative and diverse programming, designed to incorporate all campers no matter the age or disability, includes the climbing wall, zip line, boating, fishing, arts and crafts, games, sports, pool time, camp fires, special evening activities and more. Our trained and experienced counselors work with campers to promote skill-building, teamwork, friendship and fun. At Club Lily we encourage our campers to try new activities and challenge themselves. We hope to see you at camp this year!

Club Lily camp is for adults of all functioning levels. We staff the camp at a 1:3 counselor to camper ratio. There will be a certified/licensed Health Staff at camp to assist with medication administration and basic health concerns. Our exceptional staff goes through trainings and is dedicated to providing the best care possible for all of our campers. In order to maintain the highest quality of care with our ratio we ask that campers needing one-on-one behavioral support as well as those with fragile medical conditions bring a non-parent support person, over the age of 18, to camp with them (we handle these circumstances on a case-by-case basis and ask that you contact us if you feel that your camper may fall into this category).

Camp Amp is a co-ed overnight camp for children 7-17 with any disability. It is a week of fun and excitement that is sure to amp up your summer! Activities during the week include camp fires, arts and crafts, swimming, group games, a climbing tower, canoeing, the giant swing, special evening activities and so much more. All of these give campers endless opportunities to experience increased independence, enhanced self-esteem, as well as the ability to work in a group setting and the development of new interests and friendships. Camp amp Mini SessionChildren ages 7-17

Camp Amp Mini is a co-ed overnight respite weekend for children 7-17 with any disability. It is a 3-day adventure that is sure to amp up your summer! We will be doing many fun activities over those days including camp fires, arts and crafts, group games, a climbing tower, hiking, special evening activities and so much more. ESWCPA Day Camps offer opportunities for quality care and great adventure wrapped into one exciting program. Day campers attend their camp for 6 to 7 hours a day of jam-packed excitement. Our day campers experience a wide variety of activities from crafts and sports to special events and group projects. Our low counselor-to-camper ratios ensure that there will be trained counselors engaging your camper and offering them support and encouragement through-out the entire day.

Day camp families provide their own transportation to and from camp everyday, and campers bring a packed lunch with them. Snacks, program supplies and equipment are provided. Please be sure to look at the details for each camp because times, ages, and days differ for each camp. Day campers may register for any number of sessions with a non-refundable deposit per week.

york county day campages 5-22

Location: West York Church of the Open DoorDates: Mondays - Fridays,June 19-23, June 26-30, July 3-7 July 10-14, July 24-28, July 31-Aug. 4and August 7-11, 2017

Cost: $330.00 per week ($100 non-refundable deposit due with registration)

Our York County day camp runs for 7 weeks and is specifically designed for those with disabilities. It is intended to be both fun and educational for all who participate! Each day of camp will operate from 8:30am – 3:30pm at the Church of the Open Door. Campers will learn and participate within a setting that includes challenges, outdoor fun and building social relationships. Themed days/weeks include activities that will engage campers of all levels such as arts and crafts, group games, sensory activities, snack time, water play days, field trips and special guests.

There will be up to 40 registrations accepted for each week of camp. With Easterseals’ long history of quality programming, please be sure to register early to guarantee your spot. Please note that campers are expected to be able to follow verbal cues and directions. Campers needing one-on-one behavioral support as well as those that may have a fragile medical condition will be required to have a non-parental support person, over the age of 18, at each day of camp. Easterseals provides an overall staff-to-camper ratio of 1:4.

Location: Mechanicsburg - Lower Allen Community Park

Dates: July 17-21, July 24-28, July 31-Aug. 4, and August 7-11, 2017Cost: $330.00 per week ($100 per week non-refundable deposit due per week with registration)

Cumberland County day camp runs for 4 weeks and is specifically designed for those with disabilities. It is intended to be both fun and educational for all who participate! Each day of camp will operate from 9:00am – 3:00pm at the Lower Allen Township Community Park (the “Barn”). Campers will learn and participate within a setting that includes challenges, outdoor fun and building social relationships. Themed days/weeks include activities that will engage campers of all levels such as arts and crafts, group games, sensory activities, snack time, water play days and special guests.

There will be 20 registrations accepted for each week. Please be sure to register early to guarantee your spot. Please note that campers are expected to be able to follow verbal cues and directions. Campers needing one-on-one behavioral support as well as those that may have a fragile medical condition will be required to have a non-parental support person, over the age of 18, at each day of camp. Our Adams County day camp runs for two weeks and is specifically designed for those with disabilities. It is intended to be both fun and educational for those who participate. Each day of camp will operate from 9:00am-3:00pm at the Conewago Township Elementary School. Campers will participate in a setting that includes challenges, outdoor fun, and building social relationships. Themed days/weeks include activities that will engage campers of all levels such as arts and crafts, group games, sensory activities, snack time, water play, and special guests.

There will be 15 registrations accepted for each week. Please be sure to register early to guarantee your spot. Please note that campers are expected to be able to follow verbal cues and directions. Campers needing one-on-one behavioral support as well as those that may have a fragile medical condition will be required to have a non parental support person, over the age of 18, at each day of camp. Easterseals provides an overall staff-to-camper ratio of 1:4.

Join us for a Club Lily Respite Weekend! It is a great way to take a break from your everyday activities and enjoy nature, games, friends and fun! Activities include arts and crafts, group games, archery, adventure activities, campfires and more! The first weekend will be held at Camp Victory. It is a fully accessible camp that offers us the opportunity to enjoy nature and exciting program that can accommodate everyone. The second weekend will be held at Camp Joy El, which a beautiful 19-acre camp with an indoor gym, game room, open fields and mini-golf.

Our respite weekends are for adults of all functioning levels. We staff the weekend at a 1:3 counselor-to-camper ratio. There will be certified/licensed Health Staff at camp to assist with medication administration and basic health concerns. Our exceptional staff goes through trainings and is dedicated to providing the best care possible for all of our campers. Project Beacon - Military respite weekendAges 5-17

Location: East - Camp Victory (Millville, PA - Columbia County)West - Camp Soles (Rockwood, PA - Somerset County)

Dates: East - Friday, March 31 (6:00pm) - Sunday, April 2 (1:00pm)West - Friday, May 5 (6:00pm) - Sunday, May 7 (1:00pm)

Cost: $0 (Includes snack on Friday, 3 meals on Saturday & breakfast and lunch on Sunday)

This weekend, historically subsidized in part by Highmark and the PA National Guard, is specifically for the children (with and without special needs) of active military members and veterans. The camp is an opportunity for Easterseals to serve our military families and it’s a great chance for the kids to get away and enjoy some time at camp. We will be playing games, doing arts and crafts, trying out the climbing wall and zip line, eating s’mores and so much more! Join us for one of these fun weekends!

ACES Summer Adventure respite weekendAges 14+

Location: Camp Swatara (Bethel, PA - Berks County)

Dates: Friday, July 28 (6:00pm) - Sunday, July 30 (1:00pm)

Cost: $225 (Includes snack on Friday, 3 meals on Saturday & breakfast andlunch on Sunday)

This camp is intended for high-functioning individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder ages 14 and over who want to experience a weekend of adventure. At the ACES Adventure Weekend there will be an opportunity for participants to learn about themselves and the outdoors while building relation-ships and having fun.

There will be swimming, rock climbing, hiking, teambuilding, and the group will be cooking some of their own meals. Join us for a great adventure!
