In the gospel of John we find an interesting question that is applicable to the Camp experience. e question is asked by the Apostle Nathanael, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” And the Apostle Philip replies, “Come and see!” In reflecting on this, it’s evident this is the attitude everyone must have in regard to Camp Nazareth. Many have experienced the good that has come out of Camp Nazareth. So for you experienced staff and campers, you know what to expect from this special place. And for those of you who might be first- time staff and campers, you’ve taken the initiative to “come and see” the goodness Camp has to offer. So we ask you now, “Can anything good come out of Camp Nazareth?” Keep this in your mind and in your heart. Open yourself up to God and let Him work in your mind and spirit. By the end of the week you will be transformed in amazing ways. So again we ask, “Can anything good come out of Camp Nazareth?” e an- swer is: Yes! Yes it can! CAMPERS TAKE CAMP BY STORM! CN Campers took camp by storm, yesterday aſternoon, arriving with anticipation to see friends and to make new ones. Luggage was carried, suitcases were un- packed, hugs were given and frizbees were thrown. e camp was filled with the radiance of smiles, the sound of laughter and the tears of joy. Aſter check-in wrapped up, campers had a delicious dinner, and then took to the pavillion for staff intros, followed by going over the camp rules, team assignments, and closing day one with cabin blessings, evening prayers and cabin talk. Overall, a wonderful first day of camp! Already, many campers have been heard saying they cannot wait for the week awaiting them! Perth Amboy P.T.O. Sponsors CN Tech Earlier this summer, Camp Nazareth was blessed with a generous donation from the P.T.O. of St. Johns Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy, NJ for the pur- pose of increasing the multimedia department and capabilities of the department. rough the generous donation, Camp Nazareth now has a quadcopter drone to fly around and take incredible photos and videos. ese photos and videos will be used for both on site and off site purposes. e entire Camp Nazareth com- munity would like to thank the Perth Amboy commu- nity for supporting the camp and its mission; specifi- cally, in this case, the mission of camp through media and technology. CAMPERS TAKE CAMP BY STORM!CN Campers took camp by storm, yesterday afternoon, arriving with anticipation to see friends and to make new ones.
