Truman BSU Alumni and Friends,

I pray you are enjoying Gods grace in your life and His beautiful creation even the cicadas. Summer

brings longer days and I hope for you all, some time to enjoy life with family and friends. It is often in

those casual moments of talking that our faith is strengthened as we share our journeys. I continue to

be reminded of a verse that has become foundational to what we do here at the BSU.

We were to share with you not only the gospel of God but our own lives as well for you have

become so dear to us. (1 Thes 2:8, NIV)

Last year, several of you partnered with us to fund a full time Campus Missionary. We so appreciate

your support. The ministry has truly taken a step forward building on the foundation so many of you

were a part of constructing. Greg Xander an alumni himself that you may remember has done a

great job and he with the student leaders have a great year planned. See the attached letter for a word

from Greg about what is happening at the Truman BSU.

We are asking for you to consider partnering with us so the ministry continues moving forward

impacting lives at Truman. Our goals this year are twofold:

1. Raise funds for Gregs salary so we will have resources available in our budget to continue thelevel of ministry we have had in the past. The breakdown of gifts is listed below with the

amount needed shown as $443/month still needed.

Salary Donations Confirmed: MBC $833.33

Private Salary Donation $1250.00

BSU Budget $291.67

Other Confirmed gifts $100.00

Total $2475

Gregs salary is $35,000/year or $2917.67 per month. This is comparable to the full time

Campus Missionaries at Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri BSUs.

This leaves $443 ($442.67) additional support needed to minimize the impact on the BSU yearly

budget.

2. Raise additional funds to provide Greg and Stacy with insurance. This cost will be right at $350per month for both of them.

This brings the total we are hoping to raise in 2011-12 school year for salary and insurance to

$793/month which works out to $9516 for the year.

Our hope is that you will prayerfully consider your part in meeting these goals. We trust God moving on

the people needed to make this happen. We have prayed and believe these are the goals He has given

to us. He has been faithful to the Truman BSU in the past, is being faithful now and will continue beingfaithful as we move into His future. We look forward to you being on the journey with us into this

future.
