• Not an impacted campus– Nursing is the only impacted major on campus (BSN &

RN to BSN)

– Fall 2013 applications accepted Jan 2 – March 2, 2013 for BSN

– Applications accepted Feb 1 – April 13, 2013 for RN to BSN

• FTF are admitted if they meet the following requirements:– Complete “a-g” college prep courses with grade of C or

better

– Earn an eligibility (SAT/ACT) index score

– Applicants with a gpa of 3.00 or above are not required to submit test scores to establish admission eligibility

ASSOCIATE DEGREES FOR TRANSFER SB 1440

• Allows transfer students to receive AA or AS degree from a CCC before transferring to a CSU

• Agreement is currently with Bakersfield College• 3 Majors: Communications, Psychology & Sociology• Students will be pre-advised once final transcripts

are received• CSUB 301 is the course designed to help

attend an orientation program (Fee: $55.00)

• Students must pre-register to attend programs - NO ONSITE REGISTRATION

• Students are allowed to register for courses at orientation

• Pre-advising is mandatory for the School of NSME & Nursing

• FTF students must take ELM/EPT placement exams BEFORE they will be allowed to attend an orientation, unless they are exempt by SAT, ACT, AP, or EAP scores
