1. CANADAS FOOD GUIDE B y : J u s t i n 2. Why they made the food guide? Canada made a food guide so they can keep you healthy. They dont just make it for nothing. It is a good idea to use it because it can help prevent over weight, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease it also prevents certain types of cancer. 3. Our age group. Our age group is 9-13. Fruit andVegetables- we should have 6 servings per day. Grain products- 6 servings per day. Milk and Alternatives- 3-4 servings per day. Meat and Alternatives- 1-2 servings per day. 4. The Food Guide I think that it is good to say that you need certain amount of servings per day and I think some people say that they dont need that to stay healthy but it is a great way to stay healthy. 5. How it works The food guide is put in different category's for different age groups. There are four different groups Fruit andVegetables, Grain products, Milk and Alternatives and Meat and Alternatives.
