7.2.2 We received 6 applications for Fellowship salary support and 2 applications for funding of a shared project (operating support).

7.2.3 The committee was comprised of Dr. Mark Sherman (adult endocrinology-McGill), Drs. Beth Cummings (Halifax), Robert Stein (London, ON) and Carol Huang (Calgary). Dr. Shazhan Amed graciously recused herself because she was the supervisor of several trainee applications.

7.2.4 The stipend for salary remained static at $75,000. 7.2.5 We welcomed operating grant applications though salary support

was considered a priority. 7.2.6 Small revisions to the terms of reference were discussed at the

February 2016 Executive Committee meeting. This includes provision for substitute reviewers if a current committee member is a supervisor on a proposed project.

7.2.7 Additionally, we discussed that applications for operating funding should be better defined. We will further define this with the Executive to clarify this prior to the 2016-2017 competition.

7.2.8 The application deadline for Fellowships will be Monday November 21, 2016.
