T’AI CHI QI GONG TO BUILD BALANCE, COORDINATION AND CONCENTRATION OF MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT, “18 PART ONE” – SET ONEThis traditional set of Qi Gong for T’ai Chi practitioners stretches and builds strength in the muscles, improves breathing and lung function, boosts circulation, and creates better balance for mobility. Performed at the student’s own level, this work will provide a full body energizing experience. Movements will be demonstrated from small frame to large frame, and may be modified for seated practice. A handout is provided for continued personal practice. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to also enroll in SET TWO, offered later this month. Taught by Cate Morrill, CHC and Certified Wu Dang T’ai Chi and Qi Gong Instructor. CENTERING PRAYER Learn more about this meditative practice which focuses on spiritual words and themes. This sacred form of meditation encourages contemplation in a way that promotes connection with the sacred.
