About us Cann creative was set up in 2002 by Nichola McCann,

offering a full interior design service to the Workplace,

Leisure and Retail sectors.

Our aim is to provide clients with a flexible and

innovative approach to each individual project which

enhances their environment and meets their working

needs.

We are passionate about our work and take pride in the

design and detail of all our projects from concept to

completion.

We are a friendly and enthusiastic consultancy who

often collaborate with like minded design professionals,

including architects and graphic designers, to create a

diverse and complete architecture & design solution.

including property agents, developers, architects,

accountants, engineers & media companies.

We spend time with the client and end users to

understand their business needs, producing

creative and innovative solutions that also meet

their functional brief.

Office, Projects

Distribution HQ, London

The re-build of a major distribution HQ was the fastest

ever build of its type in the UK, with an overall

construction and fit out period of 23 weeks. This

enabled the site to become fully operational after just

11 months following the devastation caused by the

London riots in 2011.

The new complex contains three office floors including

café, meeting & boardroom facilities, stretching over

30,286 sqm.

Distribution HQ, London

We collaborated with DTA architects on the complete

interior fit out and worked with the client to interpret

their aspirations in creating a functional yet vibrant

place to be.

It was important to our client to provide their staff with

a contemporary and stimulating environment, so we

commissioned art installations & graphics for key areas

such as the staff café, reception and executive offices –

thus reflecting their business of music and

entertainment in an abstract and thought provoking

way.

Global Radio, Leicester Sq.

This exciting project , refurbishing the complete building

for Global Radio in Leicester sq. We designed Key areas

such as Reception & coffee bar, boardroom, Brand

meeting rooms, offices, café, terrace, branded breakouts &

wc’s throughout .

This involved a close working relationship with the client

and contractor from concept stage to onsite

implementation. This included detailed design & branding,

space planning, specification of materials, lighting scheme,

furniture selection & graphics to working dwg package.

Global Radio, Leicester Sq.

As a company who is passionate about music & brand

identity it was important to create a fresh and stimulating

environment for staff and a creative solution to each

individual brand.

Global Radio, Leicester Sq.

We transformed the existing roof Terrace in to an all

weather multifunctional space used for working,

meetings and social events.

The existing café was redesigned to create a

contemporary “high street “ feel promoting healthy food &

living.

GKL, Peterborough

GKL are a civil engineering & development company

who approached us to design and implement their new

headquarters in Peterborough.

As a fast growing developer, GKL needed a space that

reflected their professionalism to potential clients but

also quite clearly reflected their strong company values.

They are passionate about green issues and it was

essential to investigate materials and methods to fit out

the building which didn’t impact on the environment.

Our services included space planning, specification of

materials, lighting scheme, furniture selection & graphics.

Leisure, projects

In collaboration with various consultants Cann creative

have produced a number of schemes for blue chip

companies designing catering facilities on the high st and

for airport retail outlets.

We always strive to create a functional yet vibrant leisure

environment from deli bars, student eateries to Business

and industry staff breakout facilities.

Next Generation, Cambridge

Working with BDS architects Cann creative were

approached to design the interior schemes for the public

leisure facilities at Next Generation health club in

Cambridge. This included wc & changing facilities, main &

Gym reception, lounge areas and bar. For this we provided

concept sketches of the space, mood & material boards

and assisted with layout & joinery details.

We have had the opportunity to produce a number of

creative individual retail shops for a major dance wear

supplier. This involved creating a theatrical dance

experience including display & dance floors for clients to

try out new costumes and dance wear.

We have also created a new concept for a digital printing

shop with a graphic design arm where clients can create

and print their own artwork and canvases from digital

photography within the shop.
