Soak your seeds in a glass of distilled, rain, or spring water at room temperature for 14 to 18 hours. They should sink to the bottom

within the �rst few hours. Tap them gently if they are still �oating, to make sure they are fully submerged.

2Place a paper towel on a plate. At the end of the soaking period, pour the water and seeds onto the paper towel,

and drain o� any excess water.

3Space the seeds at least oneinch apart and fold the wetpaper towel over the seeds sothey are completely covered.

Place the plate in a warm, dark place.

4Keep the paper towel well-saturated with water during the entire germination process. You can check the seeds a few times a day to see if

the taproot has begun to grow.

5The seeds are ready for plantingwhen the taproot is 1/4 to 3/4 incheslong. This generally takes betweenthree and seven days. Some seeds

could take up to two weeks, depending onenvironmental conditions.
