They had several fundraising ideas organised for 2020 but these have put on hold until restrictions are lifted. However, their major fundraiser for the year is the Paver Footpath for Level 3. This is a great opportunity for past and present students, teachers, families to have their name “etched in concrete”. The path will be very similar to the one on Level 1, however this path will lead from the bottom of the steps from Level 2 to 3 to the playground equipment. There are only 2 weeks to go before all forms and money needs to be collected. Get your forms in now to avoid disappointment! Thank you to everyone who has booked in for 3 Way Interviews for the next fortnight. I know the students are looking forward to sharing their learning goals with their parents. Teachers will be “checking in” with parents who were unable to make a booking on the day of their scheduled meeting. A reminder that the last day of this term (Friday 3rd July) will be a pupil free day for staff to participate in Visible Learning which will be delivered virtually through the Corwin Institute using John Hattie’s research. There will be no supervision for students on this day, however all students will be expected for attend school on the first day of Term 3, Monday 20th July. Class in Focus: Year 2

[email protected] | www.canowindra-p.schools.nsw.gov.au

Year 2 have been learning about the qualities needed to develop and maintain repectful relationships. They have explored positive ways to interact with each other and have identified how emotional responses have an impact on others’ feelings. Here the class is shown working collaboratively together through positive interactions as they investigate scenarios on how to build positive relationships with others. PD1-3
