W h a t a r e N o i s e - c a n c e l l i n g headphones?Noise-cancelling headphones reduce unwanted ambient sounds (i.e. acoustic noise) by means of active noise control. Essentially, this involves us-ing a microphone placed at the ear combined with electronic circuitry interference, which cancels out the noise within the enclosed volume of the headphone. Keeping noise level low at the ear makes it possible to enjoy music without raising the volume unnecessarily. The more dots per inch (dpi) a mouse can track the more sensi-tive and accurate it is. A standard optical sensor detec ts in average 400-600dpi, and a laser mouse can track more than 2,000dpi. The laser mouse offers a faster t ra c k i n g s p e e d b u t a s i t i s ve r y s e n s i -tive, it might not work well on reflective surfaces whereas an optical mouse works on vir tually any sur face. Due to a more advanced technology used for laser mice, these usually have a higher price. How-ever, it is important to clarify that none of these two technologies is really better than the other.
