Overview
Cytedal is the creation of a group of entrepreneurs who foresaw the decline
of the mining boom and decided to diversify their skill set to related
activities in the commercial consultation sector.
We are backed by entrepreneurial business executives who have a very strong track record of more than 20
years’ growth and profitability within mining and resource, manufacturing,
engineering and export.
We have a broad network of international contacts and a solidreputation within multiple markets.
Team members originate from a background of consultants, designers and constructorsdelivering cost beneficial projects with outcomes of strong return on investment. Our services are primarily biased towards the electrical and communications fields, however we also have structural and civil capabilities. .
5
Philosophy
At Cytedal we have a holistic approach to opportunities and solutions with consideration tofinancial investment. Our focus
is to avoid becoming tunnel visioned in our desire to find
solutions.
We have a dynamic structure, allowing for a tailored approach to our customers circumstances,
rather than encouraging the customer to fit a predetermined business structure or concept.
We at Cytedal are focused on providing for our customers,
embracing difficult concepts as a part of everyday business: a “can-do” business, driven by
customer expectations.
6
Coordination
Core members of our team are chosen for their experience beyond the specific areas of theirexpertise, which allows for team-worked solutions derived from a multi-faceted approach with a minimum number of team members. In this way we reduce the number of personal involved, shorten the lines of communication and call for specialist services only once the concept of the solution has been formulated.
This approach benefits the customer through a rapid turnaround in the design concept phase ofthe development, which reduces the cost associated with extended design concept andfeasibility, allowing additional manoeuvring space in the construction phase and a greaterpotential for on-time and within-budget final completion.
Our principle of a dynamic and variable structure isbased on the depth of our partnerships within each
engineering discipline, and our ability to avoid involving services until the time when they become
necessary.
To enable the ability to modify our delivery to suit any circumstance, our approach is to add
services only as they become necessary.
We have developed this variable structure business model through our experience in dealing with extreme and difficult situations for our customers, where there
has been high risk and limited options; this is the domain in which we have bread our pedigree.
7
Capabilities
As our philosophy is to provide a total care package to our customers, we have made it our goal to cover what we consider to be the core elements of project design and management in our business model. We provide solutions for our clients that ensure our contribution to a project not only satisfies the technical and practical requirements of our specialised disciplines, but ensures that our designs do not have flow-on effects on other direct or indirect works that are linked to associated services.

Engineering Management
Facilitating a review of variations from a scope or specification for project works
can be a time consuming, disruptive and destabilising process which can affect a client customer relationship and delay
successful completion of project works. Claims for variations consume time and
resources that could be better utilised in engineering design and supervision
activities; they can become a seed of long-term disagreement between client
and principle.
The provision of a third party review which is independent of either the
principle contractor or the customer can provide a welcome path to settlement of
claims for variation that may havebeen incurred during the course of a
project.
We assist in the comprehension of meshing the technical world with the commercial world, clarifying through translation to understandable language and providing strong mediation outcomes.
At Cytedal, we have a professional understanding of the project administration mechanisms involved, and a culture based on ethical and empathetic business practice, through experience gained in dispute management resolution over many years. We can provide both the customer and the principal contractor with an independent arbitration service to facilitate an amicableresolution of claims.

Building Services
This is an endeavour where many companies profess their expertise. It is an area of project management where the coordination and cooperation between various services in the same space is critical to the success of both the design and construction of any project. The stories of the failures to coordinate, space proof and cooperate are too numerous to be ignored. At Cytedal we have the technical expertise not only to specify the required services correctly, but to consider the estimate requirements of the current project. These considerations encompass the facilities and construction of these services within them to comply with the relevant standards. The goal is to invest in the client side goals and areas that can influence program overruns. From a constructor's viewpoint it is about enhancing the management of preliminaries and creating a float to critical path. These practices are the least we can achieve in the total picture of building services capabilities. We have taken heed of others' past failures and through a process of strict adherence to documented checklists in our project management procedures, and a culture of communicating with all stakeholders and our client, we aim to ensure that the only surprise experienced is the continuity of the project's on-time, on-budget completion. We want to show you how easy it can be.
