BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES

CAPE CONROE CLUB HOUSE

GENERAL SESSION

August 10, 2011

7:00 P.M.

Call to order at 7:05 P.M. by Chester Parzyck, Vice President

Directors Present: Chester Parzyck-Vice President, Jim Mauch- Treasurer, Jane Laake, Betty

Radcliffe, Woody Wallace, Sharon Johnson, April Wallin, Jim Allen, and Billy Renard

Alternates:

Tammy Perry & Steve Durham from Investment Management Company

Jason Bone- Attorney

Public Comments:Mr. Doyle Atkinson came before the board and suggests enforcing curfew because of the

vandalism in the neighborhood. Ms.Sonjia McKnight came before the board about problems

with a fence going up in her back yard and Chester stated it was Stanley MUD that she needed

to contact that CCPOA has no control over that property since it is owned by Stanley MUD.

Minutes:Minutes of the July meeting were presented. Betty motioned to approve the minutes. Woody

2nd the motion, motion carried.

Financials:The July financials were presented by Jim. Betty motioned to accept the financials as

 presented, Jim Allen 2nd the motion, motion carried

Committee Reports:

ACC- 1079 Lakeview Dr ,622 Paradise Drive, 410 Moonwalk turned in applications

Maintenance: Clubhouse roof has been redone by the maintenance team.

Security: Report by Jim Mauch; theft in the neighborhood, told security to patrol the areawhen the vandalism occurs more frequently.

Community Relations: Report by Betty Radcliffe: The Annual Cape Conroe Barbeque which

is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2011 @ 4:00 p.m. will be catered by Clint’s Catering.

Jane is working on getting signs for events for the subdivision to put at both entrances.

Pool chairs have been ordered.

Utilities and Roads: Billy reported that there are a few street lights out and the resident needs

to fill out the form for the electric company to repair.

Special Projects: Nothing at this time

Clubhouse Committee: Nothing at this time.

New Business:

Chester appointed April Wallin from alternate to director.

Excessive speeding on Paradise Lane- Jim Mauch suggested since it is county roads to call

Sherriff Department and complain. The more complaints called in the better for Sherriff 

Department to come out

Jim Allen asked to put trash can at boat launch area to put debris in and to have Steve with

maintenance to clean it on Mondays and Thursdays.

Marquee light will have the cut off time changed to 10:00 p.m. instead of the 1:30 a.m. that it is

currently set to turn off 

A request was made that pool hours be extended later in the year since it does not get cold until

 November and that from the end of September when normal pool closes it be left open to

adults only until November. Betty will check out and report back..

carried.
