OUR EVENT SPONSORSHIP MODEL Why do so many CIOs attend i.c.stars conferences and events each year? i.c.stars is situated in a unique position in the marketplace. CIO’s participate in our mission at the board level, employer level, client level, and attend our events to help us raise the funds necessary to run our program. This creates an event marketing opportunity for Technology Providers that cannot be found anywhere else.

ABOUT US i.c.stars was formed in 1999 to develop 1,000 Community Leaders by 2020. We are a non-profit training organization in Chicago for adults with a high school diploma or GED. EVENT SPONSORSHIPS

Values-Based Relationships More than business contacts, i.c.stars packages provide opportunities to make stronger, authentic connections through development of relationships in a community service context. Your company representatives contribute alongside other IT executives, who are giving back to the IT profession by mentoring. It’s how you build stronger relationships than a hit-and-miss hand shake at a networking event. You also meet new talent available for permanent and temporary employment opportunities for your company.

Tax Deductible i.c.stars is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. Our events are positioned as community service activities and not for direct pitching of services, which provides a more comfortable atmosphere to build relationships.

It is extremely high powered networking for the first hour of each conference in a private setting. 8:00am – Welcome address 8:30am – Keynote Session Each event has a presenting sponsor who nominates a recognized industry leader from their organization to talk about the current year’s specific theme. 9:30am – Discussion Session The discussion session leads off with each CIO/CEO in the room being introduced to everyone. The room then shifts into table-centered discussions lead by the CIO/CEO pairs. 11:00am – Award Session At both conferences, an award is presented to an i.c.stars alum for making an impact in their organization and community. The recipient speech is always a powerful demonstration of the impact i.c.stars is making on our communities.
