“ The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled”- Plutarch

Having managed Office of Career & Academic Services in leading higher education universities like IMT and

SP Jain School of Global Management in UAE for several years, I have realized the existing skill gap and

unfulfilled industry demand. Providing a good quality education that develops skills that are readily

transferable to the workplace is the critical link. Quality Education and Continuous learning are the key

element not only for industry but also influences individual thoughts and actions and helps to build a great

nation. I believe that education, like no other industry, places a significant value on social responsibility and is

ingrained in the character of its stakeholders.

From our faculty's industry experience to relevant methodologies designed to take discussion from concepts

to corporate practices and our industry immersion program, the programs at CEI will be in high demand by

candidates who take career progression seriously. Our industry panel ensures that leading business practices

in the Middle East are used as case studies to keep learning relevant.

We encourage constant feedback from recruiters to ensure progression and improvement while preparing

students to become global leaders and to lead by example.

Since we are driven to assist working professionals who are pressed for time we have ensured all necessary

online access is provided and we have created cells to continuously support them to help them complete their

education in time.

We look forward to meeting you in our classroom and ensuring it proves to be the best investment you would

have made in your career.

Program Director

Education is the key to unlocking the world, a passport to freedom.

DR. SUCHI DUBEYPh.D., MBA, M.Com, PGDFM

Dr. Suchi Dubey is a senior faculty member in Department of Management Science,

SZABIST Dubai Campus. She is having more than five years of teaching experience

in India and UAE. Her area of teaching is in the field of Finance, Accounting, and Project Management. She

has supervised various master level thesis and research projects and has designed and organized several

academic workshops for the universities. She has published papers in reputed journals and has contributed

papers in various conferences.

DR. BEENU MAGOPhD

Dr. Beenu holds Ph.D. in Computer Science. Shehas extensive experience of total of

13 years’ that includes 7 years of corporate and 6 years of academic. She has been

involved in teaching various courses at the graduate and masters level both in

management and in information Technology. Academia provides an opportunity to combine industrial

knowledge with theoretical concepts.

Her teaching philosophy acknowledges that Computer Science as an academic subject must serve at least

three audiences with dramatically different goals: some students study the discipline purely for its own sake;

others want to learn Computer Science to help support some other pursuit (e.g., animation, biology, etc.); and

still others hope to pursue a professional technology career (e.g., programmer or technician). Her learner

group consists of three types of audiences: a few students are undergraduates who hope to go to graduate

school to study Computer Science in depth; about half the class are Master’s students who want to become

software developers; and the remainder are students whose primary interest lies in supporting finance,

telecommunications, genetics, computational biology, and so on. When teaching such a diverse group of

learners, she believes that it is vital to continually keep students motivated about important topics – this is

especially true with technically dense topics that some students may find intimidating. She tries to emphasize

how a deeper understanding may ultimately help the students fine-tune or debug an application, keep their

data consistent, connect to the Web, etc. She is also a strong believer in keeping students engaged through

a “semi-structured” and interactive class experience. She came up with the acronym APPLE which stands for

a teacher’s main duties: Get the class’s attention and keep it. Be prepared for classes. Check students’

progress. Love teaching, and set a good example for the students. She also believes the role of a professor,

as a researcher is to be an educator informed by the “real world” and its needs, good pedagogical techniques,

and the best ideas from research. She strives to do this, and to encourage and engage students both in the

classroom and in the less-structured setting of research.
