Maternity Posing Ideas

1.The Cradled Belly In this pose, the mom-to-be

cradles her belly with her hands counterpoint to each other — one hand up, the

other down.

2. The Proud Belly

This one should work better after the cradled belly , after you taken a few photos and the mom-to-be is feeling more comfortable in front of the camera and you have found a rhythm.

3. The Seated Triangle

This particular pose has a formal, geometric advantage, especially when posed correctly. It creates a symmetrical form and creates a classic pyramid.

4. The Hands of Love

• This is a very popular maternity portrait, one you will see in the portfolio of nearly every maternity photographer.

• One of the reasons this pose is so popular is that it is sweet, easy to accomplish, and very low pressure for the mom-to-be.
