Christmas Centerpiece Night Don’t forget to sign up for the Poinsettia

Part Time

Janitor Needed

The Carbon Community Hall is currently looking to hire a Part-Time Janitor, with minor maintenance

duties. You will be required to clean the hall weekly, and after social functions. You will be contracted and

expected to report to the Community Hall Board monthly. Deadline is Nov 16, 2018. Please drop off your resumes at the Village Office or email them to

Please join them if you are a spouse, care giver or adult child of someone with Alzheimer/Dementia. Salvation Army in Drumheller offers a “Sally Social Café”

every Wednesday from Noon-1:30pm. This program will be at

their new location at 90 Railway South Drumheller. They serve

Soup, Sandwich and Dessert all for only $3.00. So if you’re

looking for a day trip with a friend or are in Drumheller on a

Wednesday drop by and enjoy.

CHRISTMAS LIGHT DISPLAY CONTEST

The Village of Carbon has challenged the Village of Linden to a

Christmas Light Display contest.

Public Works will be decorating trees and placing displays around the Village. We encourage all

residents to decorate their house for the festive season as Carbon as a whole will be judged. Let’s work

together to make this Carbon Christmas memorable!

If anyone would like to donate any Christmas lights or large displays, it would be greatly appreciated.

We thank you in advance for any donations you drop off at the Village Office and your

support in decorating your own properties!

Carbon Lions Christmas Light Contest

Let’s light up the night!!!!! Get in the spirit and sparkle up the

cold Christmas season. We encourage young and old alike to get out and

light up our amazing village! The Lions Club will be offering some great prizes as incentive to light

up the night. (we are still working on what the prizes are), but as usual they will be epic!

Judging will take place the evening of December 20, 7:00 pm ‘til 9:00 pm
