What if your card is stolen, lost, gets stuck in an ATM or someone else knows your PIN?

With a passport number AN672649 and the last 4 digits of the card number 1234 you will SMS:

Did you know that debit cards expire? When a debit card expires, it stops working. The expiry date is printed on the front of your card. Make sure to get a new card in the month that your card expires.

Step 1: Activate your cardActivate your Mukuru Card by depositing or EFTing at least R100 into your Card.

Step 2: Memorise your 5 digit Card PINMemorise your 5 digit Card PIN number. Never write it down. You use this PIN when swiping and withdrawing at retailers.

Step 3: Setup your 4 digit Wallet PINYou need to set a PIN on the USSD menu (*130*567#)to keep your cash safe. You will use this PIN every time you transact on your phone.
