We are seeing stars - 4, actually! Calais Regional Hospital earned a 4 star Overall Hospital Quality Rating and CRH Home Health
earned a 4 star Quality of Patient Care Rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Only 946 hospitals nationwide received a 4 star rating out of 4,598 hospitals. Eighty three received a five star rat-ing. Scores and ratings can be viewed at www.medicare.gov/hospitalcompare. A 4 Star Rating means that CRH Home Health performed better than other agencies on the 9 measured care practices and outcomes. Across the country, most agencies receive 3 or 3 ½ stars, according to CMS. The Maine Average is 3 ½ stars. Only 5 Home Health Agencies re-ceived a 4 star rating and 4 received a 4.5-5 star rating out of 30 Agen-cies across the State. Scores and ratings can be viewed at www.medicare.gov/homehealthcompare.
Congratulations to our staff on this amazing recognition of the quality health-care they provide for the communities we serve!
