MISSION STATEMENT: The Continuing Education Division offers quality, tuition-free noncredit classes, programs, and services that enable students to maximize their potential by acquiring the necessary academic, technical, and workforce skills to reach their personal, educational, and career goals so that they can benefit from and contribute to society as productive, active members of their communities.

This program prepares students to assist the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities with daily living activities at the person’s home or in a care facility. In a simulated caregiving environment, students will gain experience performing caregiver duties which may in-clude nutrition, cleanliness, ambulation, and household activities.

Upon successful completion of the requirements for this certificate, students will be able to Demonstrate how to correctly perform the duties of a caregiver/personal care aids.
