The career planning process includes self-assessment, research, decision making, job searching, and accepting a job off er. In this module, you will learn how to uncover your interests in order to contribute towards the process of looking for a job. You will also learn which skills are important to possess in the workplace, in order to enhance your possibilities of getting hired. You will also be provided with details of how to go about writing a CV.

02CAREER EXPLORATION

In order to truly know what you want to do for the rest of your life, you must actually try to do it. An internship is an option to gain knowledge and experience in a certain fi eld, but fi rst, you must get that internship! In this module, you will learn about essential interview skills and how to conduct yourself professionally. You will also learn about the purpose and importance of internships, as well as what to do when you want to change your career.

03CAREER PERFORMANCE

Job performance refers to the work-related activities expected of an employee and how well those activities get executed. Many business personnel directors assess the job performance of each employee on an annual or quarterly (even weekly) basis in order to help them identify suggested areas for improvement.In this module, you will learn why it is necessary that employees get trained and mentored, and also how they (and employers) can use feedback to their advantage. You will also learn how to identify and use your strengths.

04CAREER DEVELOPMENT

Career development is the process that forms a person’s work identity. It is a signifi cant part of human development and spans over the individual’s entire lifetime, beginning when the individual fi rst becomes aware of how people make a living. In this module, you will learn to understand why you should never stop learning, even if you are in a top position. You will also learn how one can build experience, as well a reputation. Every workplace has barriers; in this module, you will learn how to identify and to overcome these barriers.
