the OPPORTUNITY - LOGISTICS MANAGERThe Prince Edward Island Brewing Company, founded in 1997 in Charlottetown is currently seeking a Logistics Manager to join their fast-growing operation.
The Logistics Manager is a member of the leadership team at the PEIBC. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Logistics Manager manages deliveries and draught services on PEI, inventory management in all three of our warehouses in three provinces as well as managing the flow of our products to export markets.
the duties• Overall management of the PEIBC’s warehouses, including shipping and receiving of finished goods and POS materials, product rotation and overall cleanliness• Work closely with our Draught Services team to e�ectively manage the cleaning and maintenance of the company’s draught lines and draught units• Management of the delivery and draught services team(s)• Work closely with our third-party logistics partner to manage our o�-island warehousing and product distribution• Develop and maintain standard operation procedures and aiding with continuing development of procedures to ensure safety, quality, e�ciency, and profitability• Develop relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external• Management of company vehicles, that they are maintained and clean at all times • Daily use of the PEIBC’s brewery management tool• Participate in weekly meetings with sta� and management team
the must have’s• A passion for and basic knowledge for beer • Advance working knowledge and experience with working with computers, smart phones and MS o�ce software.• Highly organized, ability to manage multiple di�erent projects in a fast pace environment • Mechanical aptitude with maintenance experience • Strong work ethic with ability to solve problems systematically • Ability to manage self and manager others• Some evening and weekend work• Must be at least 19 years of age • Must possess a class 5 drivers licence with a clean driving abstract
