Introduction• This career is a series of drawing, sketching, graphic design, color, etc. • I chose this career because I love drawing. I draw just about everyday. I am

very dedicated to drawing.

Nature Of Work• In this career, you draw, sketch, color, design, etc. for people who ask for

something to be done for them. You talk on the phone quite a bit to communicate with the clients and you have to fax over your drawings to the clients.

Working Conditions• You spend a lot of time individually to sketch and concentrate, you mainly

work in a studio, you work pretty much everyday you have to meet the deadline you have to have the drawing by.

Training, Qualifications, Education• The university I would choose to go to for this career is Kent State

University. The tuition fee for non-ohio residence is $17,632. Room and board fees are $9,176. Books cost $350.00 per semester.

Job Outlook/Employment• In this career, the jobs you could get are you could be an artist, animator

for things like Disney, illustrator, or graphic designer.

Use Of Technology• One of many technologies used in this career is mainly a computer. Really,

you have to have a computer to succeed in this career. You would use this to research, think of new designs, and contact people.

Summary• This career would be appealing to me because I love to draw and I enjoy it.

I think I would do good in this career. I have sold a couple of drawings already to people, so I already know how to do that part.
